The shaking table, also known as a gravity concentration table, is a key equipment for fine-grained material separation based on density differences. It primarily consists of a table deck, a drive mechanism, and a support frame. The drive system typically employs an electric motor coupled with a reciprocating mechanism (such as a crank-link or eccentric cam), which imparts a asymmetric oscillating motion to the table deck. This motion, combined with the tilt of the deck and water flow, enables the stratification and separation of particles according to their specific gravity.
The shaking table features a rectangular or diagonal deck surface with riffles that enhance material distribution and segregation.
